I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in practice for almost 25 years. In that time I’ve worked with a vast array of clients, from severely and persistently mentally ill and struggling to survive, to high-functioning professionals trying to find the right life path. I currently work with motivated higher net worth individuals who may be facing existential crisis, have trouble finding clarity on how to use their limited time on Earth, are held back from their potential by current or past circumstances, or who just aren’t happy and don’t want to live that way.
What really helps me help you is that I’ve done many other things professionally, so I’ve been out in the world and have a broad understanding of how it works. I have been in leadership positions in a Fortune 5 company, worked in non-profits with state and federal government, provided Emergency Room crisis services, published an award-winning book with the Denver Botanic Gardens, advised the Colorado Music Hall of Fame on a new behavioral health program, worked in the Denver Public Schools’ special education department, been a photo editor and writer for a music magazine, and directed and produced an award-winning historical documentary.
I approach life from the angle that it is limited, and in order to magnify it’s meaning one must pursue self-knowledge, have a tolerance for discomfort and failure, have an openness to considering your mortality, possess a facility for unmitigated honesty, and a come with a willingness to do the work.
What that gives me the most gratification is creating things and helping others get what they want. So, I am here, happy to work with you.
